Hi, I am Fiona, or Fi to my friends, and I am on a journey to lead a more pure, low tox lifestyle. As I take this journey, it continues to amaze me just how incredibly easy it is to do! Also, who would have thought removing harmful chemicals from our daily life could be so fulfilling & rewarding.
It started 2014 when I decided to make a life changing move for our household by slowly ditching and switching those chemical laden products for pure natural solutions, which I found with Young Living Essential Oils. This included cleaning products, personal care, pet care, and so much more.
Once I started that journey, it became about our health, and my dog’s health – reducing risk factors that contribute to ill health – and simply, I just didn’t want nasty chemicals around our home, especially once I had done my research on them.
Then my passion lead me to sharing this amazing journey with family and friends, by educating them about how easy it is to make that change. This made me realise I could help others do the same, so I created my business Pure Path Perth.
When I started the journey, I had no idea I would also be making an impact on the environment by reducing the waste in our household. I make my own products, and I reuse the same containers, which has reduced the amount of plastic containers I once purchased. It has been so empowering for me.
My other passion is our beloved pets, especially dogs. I mentioned earlier that we have a dog, his name is Elmo and he is a cavoodle. At 10mths old he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia, and his future did not look at all bright. His vet indicated he would need medication for the rest of his life, plus surgery around the age of 3 years, and all with no guarantees of success. Well, it is now 10 years on, he has had no surgery, and he is happy, healthy, and living a great life. I have succeeded in managing the issues with his hips naturally, using Young Living essential oils and supplements. My aim was to reduce the amount of prescription drugs, as they are known for their many side effects, and I have managed that now for 6 years. I have also noticed that my vet bills have reduced, as I can manage a lot of issues by myself. Believe me, if Elmo needs to see a vet, I definitely take him to one, as he is everything to me. Apart from the fact that I have managed to help Elmo, the next best part is that, based on my experiences, I am now helping other pet owners to also switch their pets over to natural alternatives.
